Training

If your an apprentice, a mentor will teach you to become a warrior. When being an apprentice in training, there are usually three lessons. Fighting with weapons, fighting without weapons and hunting.Fighting without weapons:First of all, type in the word 'no nothing' at the end of your sentence when you fight. If you have free chat, just type in nn. Rely on your teeth, claws and strength. Use different fight actions that will surprise your mentor and finally knock them out. You can ALSO use words like: 'heals' 'confuses them' 'steadies grip' 'pins down' 'blocks way' 'makes them numb'. REMEMBER you CAN'T use time and magical stuff when fighting. EVER!Fighting with weapons:Like the other fighting technique, you cannot use magical stuff or time and you can use the word 'no nothing' so they can't do anything about it. When using weapons, you will possibly fight with a bow, sword or crossbow. These are some techniques you can type in: 'Hits back with bow and blinds her/him with point of arrow' 'Slams sword on back hardly' 'uses bow/crossbow string to strangle her/him' 'Pins down with hilt of sword'. You can even use 'TICKLE to death with feathers of arrows'!

Animal Jam is a game in which you can buy a ton of animals, pets, items and more. To do so, you are going to need the required amount of in-game currencies. There are two different currencies in AJ; Gems and Diamonds.

The difference between Gems and Diamonds is that Gems are easily obtainable by playing the game, while Diamonds are more “premium”. This means that it will take some effort to get Diamonds, and possibly will cost you real money.

What are Diamonds?

As mentioned above, Diamonds are the premium currency in Animal Jam. Many of the items in the game are sold exclusively for Diamonds. But not only items, there are a ton of animals, pets, dens, clothing items and more, which can exclusively be bought with Diamonds.

Diamond Shop

In order to find out what you can buy with Diamonds, you need to visit the Diamond Shop. It is located in the center of the Jamaa Township, easily located by finding the circular building with diamond banners on it. In the shop, you can check out the different stalls, and see what kind of exclusive items you can buy with Diamonds.

The great thing is, the inventory of these stalls keep changing, which means that you are able to keep getting new items and animals!

How to Get Diamonds in Animal Jam

Animal jam 2014 items

There are a number of ways to get Diamonds in AJ. However, most of them require you to spend real money, one way or another. We will take a look at the different options you have.

Daily Spin

Firstly, when you have an AJ membership, you get to spin a wheel on a daily basis. By doing so, you will get rewarded with Diamonds. By logging in for several consecutive days, and making use of the Daily Spin, you multiply the amount of Diamonds you can win. Basically, all you have to do is log in, spin the wheel and the Diamonds will be added to your inventory.

Join the Club

If you are not yet a member, you can get a handful of free diamonds by simply signing up. It should be noted that a membership costs real money. A one month of membership comes with 10 Diamonds, six months comes with 75 Diamonds and twelve months comes with 175 Diamonds. You will also receive Gems and Sapphires, which is the premium currency of PW.

Membership Certificates

It is possible that you received a membership certificate for your birthday, or just randomly! Membership certificates also come with bonus Diamonds, ranging between 10 and 60 bonus Diamonds. The amount of Diamonds depends on the length of the membership.

Diamond Certificates

If you already have a membership, but you simply lack the Diamonds, you can also directly buy Diamonds with real money. They are called Diamond Certificates, so they only grant you Diamonds, and do not give you a membership. There are three different certificates for sale; 10 Diamonds for $9.95, 25 Diamonds for $19.95 and 75 Diamonds for $49.95. As you can see, the Diamond Certificates are quite expensive. A membership might be a better option.

Animal Jam Diamond Codes

Occasionally, you can get free Diamonds by redeeming a code on Animal Jam. Currently, there is only one working Diamond code. By entering the code “twelve”, you receive one Diamond for free. There are more codes available for Gems, since that’s the basic currency.
