If you've read the Warrior Series by Erin Hunter, you probably know what I mean by 'clan.' if you HAVEN'T, then here's a description:
Clans should be a game for warriors fans where they have to choose a real warrior cat to play. Please tell me which cats I should pick from the list below.
A clan is a group of animals (in Animal Jam, not in the books) who hunt animals (not members or nonmembers of animal jam, pretend animals) fight other clans (occasionally), have mates (husbands/wives) and have meetings. It's hard to start a clan. I've been in two clans: one of them disbanded, and the other is very small. You have to have dedication, but it's fun. There's iceclan, a very successful clan, and i heard of fireclan, and there are many others. You'll hear people say, 'I'm six moons' or 'I'm a medicine cat' or something like that.
A medicine cat (or whatever animal you are) heals any clanmate of diseases, injuries, and is basically a prophet, receiving messages and omens from StarClan, (heaven. They send warnings, prophecies, etc.)
A warrior is a mentor (teacher,) who teach apprentices about hunting, fighting, and protecting what's rightfully yours. They also fightand take mates. They take on names like claw, leaf, wind, pelt, something that makes sense with the name or describes the person (ex, Runningwind, Fireheart, Hawkfrost, Leafpool)An apprentice is a cat six moons (months) old, and they learn from warriors until they are warrior-ready. they can fight in battles, hunt for food, and learn from other mentors when their real one is busy or can't teach them. They cannot take mates until they are both warriors. They have a name, and then the word 'paw' (example, Hawkpaw, Leafpaw, Lionpaw, etc)
A leader is, well, the leader. They have a deputy, and can still train apprentices, if the apprentice is lucky. They get warnings from Starclan as well as medicine cats. The leader can still talk to other warriors for ideas. You're not leading a clan if you don't listen to them. You also take the name 'star' (ex, Hawkstar, Leafstar, Lionstar, etc)
A deputy is the person the leader wants to become leader when the leader retires. The deputy sets hunting patrols. It's a good idea to tell the deputy or a member of the clan when you're leaving or not coming to a meeting. The deputy informs a leader of Clan news while the leader is away.
1: Don't take more than what you need. (ex: food)
3: Share ideas. You're not slaves!
If you LIKE the Clan thing, but don't want to do it with others, you are considered a loner. A lonerhunts, makes their own rules, and has fun with other Clans. I don't know if there ARE any loners, but I'm guessing there might be a few. I'm in a clan, so I'm not a loner yet.Keep on Jammin!
